Ranchodraiji Temple Sri Ranchhodraiji Dakor One of Gujarat’s Pancha Dwarka Temples or a pilgrimage to Krishna’s five abodes. Shri Ranchhodraiji Maharaj Temple is Dakor’s main attraction. During Sharad Poornima, Ranchodrai, incarnation of Krishna, visited Dakor. The temple is a big square. Four cardinal gates puncture the outer walls. Offices and storerooms surround the temple.

Ranchhodrai is four-armed Vishnu. Lord Vishnu usually holds the conch, lotus, discus, and mace. The abhaya mudra on His lower right arm protects anyone who approach Him. Without getting close to the Lord, a lotus imprint on the hand cannot be confirmed. While the Lord is worshipped more as Krishna than Dwarkadhish, i.e., younger and freer than the mature Lord of Dwaraka, His right hand is commonly represented holding a flute, His favourite instrument in His youth.
