Sivasagar Sivadol is a complex of buildings on the shores of Sivasagar pond that includes the temples Sivadol, Visnudol, and Devidol. In 1734, Bar Raja Ambika, the queen of Ahom King Swargadeo Siba Singha, constructed the Sivasagar Sivadol Temple in an effort to reassert the Ahoms’ dominance over Kamrup.
