The origins of the Sri Ulagalanda Perumal Temple
One of the Divya desams in Kanchipuram is the Sri Ulagalanda Perumal Temple. An imprint of Mahabali’s head may be seen underneath Sri Ulagalantha Perumal’s Thiruvadi. When Mahabali asked to see Perumal in His “Aadhiseshan” form, Perumal obliged by appearing at this same temple. Next is the Sri Kamakshi temple, another Hindu holy site.
