Very recently, on the 5th of October 2021, the proposals made by the Chhattisgarh Government to classify two forest areas as reserve forests were granted approval by the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA). The eleventh technical Committee of the NTCA took a month to evaluate the suggestion provided by the Chhattisgarh Government on September 1st.
